Aims

The aim of the project is to create awareness of the consequences of deforestation, to make tree trees as a source of income attractive and to anchor trees, as components of rituals, in the tradition of the population of the parish of Ololkirikirai in Kenya. Furthermore, horticulture, forest gardens, agroforestry and humus cultivation in Ololkirikirai are to be promoted.

It is not our aim to open up large areas, which is why we do not measure our success in a haunted area.

Rather, we want to empower small-scale farmers to cultivate, on their small surfaces, trees which they can harvest and sell themselves or use for themselves, to cultivate a wider range of field crops and vegetables, and to cultivate mixed cultures. Of course fruit trees, fodder plants and fodder are also an issue.
